Economic Improvement

Our agriculture campaign is focused on assessing usable land in Paraolon Village for farming and chicken harvesting. By helping provide equipment and a process for plowing, planting, growing, and harvesting crops we will be able to ensure year-around job security for those working in the field and those taking their product to the market for selling. As for chicken farming, we are also helping to create a suitable environment for harvesting and transporting chickens to the market for selling.

Sports

There aren’t many things that bring people together like the comradery of sports, and we’ve found out that one of the best ways to build trust with our villages as well as simply have some good fun is through sporting events and tournaments. Events like these help us to earn credibility with the village by giving us a place to share our ideas, plans, and goals while receiving feedback from the community. It also allows people from far and wide to be able to come together to hear a sermon of hope and play or watch a game they love. For Paraolon Village, this game is volleyball, so we will be hosting a volleyball tournament there this year to get to know our new friends in the village, share about our old friend Jesus, and discuss plans for making their village better then ever.

Education & Recreation

Educational needs look different in every place we visit and for Paraolon Village, it looks like informing the community on the importance of schooling and providing transportation or lodging for children wishing to seek Rout an education. This campaign is one that will develop over time as we get to take more visits to India and meet with parents as well as teachers desiring to have a place where education flourishes and children are equipped for future careers inside or outside of the village.

A little bit goes a long way in Paraolon Village, India.
