Vision for 25K - An Exciting Summer Ahead!
Dear Village Reach family,
It’s a new season and we have a clearer mission! So we’re stepping into summer with more faith, more focus, and more gratitude for you than ever.
Here’s what’s coming up and how you can be part of it:
Our Summer Campaign Begins July 1
From July 1 to August 8 is our annual Dreams Within Reach fundraising campaign, and we’re aiming to raise $25,000 — the first stretch toward our $75,000 annual goal. We have a “Vision for $25K” and we’re so excited to reach it together.
Why $25K? Because it helps us keep showing up for our Dreamers in Cambodia, Colombia, and India — and gets us ready to say yes to two more Dreamers and mission locations we’re hoping to launch soon. These are real people with beautiful, God-given visions to serve their communities — and we want to be ready to lift them up.
The Gala Comes to Lexington
It’s finally happening — we’re bringing the Summer Gala to our hometown of Lexington, KY! Join us on August 8 at the beautiful Camel Club, a warm and inviting new social house that’s the perfect setting for this special evening.
And guess what? August 8 is not only the last day of our Dreams Within Reach campaign — it’s also VR’s third birthday, and Katlyn and Stephen’s son Zealand’s 1st birthday! How cool is that?
Tickets are $65 and include delicious hors d’oeuvres, a drink, raffle tickets, a goodie bag, and a heartfelt Village Reach update.
This event is invite-only, but if you’d love to come, we’d love for you to request an invite before it fills up. Just email admin@villagereach.world to do so!

A Joyful Report from Mission Colombia
Just a few days ago, Karson and Eyson hosted this year’s VR-sponsored Student Leadership Retreat in Filandia — and it was truly powerful.
From vocational testing to personality workshops, small groups, and inspiring guest speakers (including a 17-year-old the students loved and a missionary from Japan!), the retreat gave space for students to explore their gifts and dreams in a deeper way. They studied Scripture, shared honestly, prayed for each other, and leaned into the truth that they are created for more.
We ended with the beloved commissioning scrolls, affirming the character, calling, and potential of each student — and let’s just say, the scrolls were a hit.
The students left motivated, encouraged, and more confident in who they are. One student even shared that they feel God leading them to help other kids discover their purpose too. That’s impact that multiplies — and we’re so thankful to everyone who helped make it happen.

Praying Over Liberia
In just a few hours, we’ll be sitting down (via Google Meet) with Melvin in Liberia, Africa — a leader with a heart for his people and a vision we’re eager to support. We have been vetting him and his community-serving business idea for over a year, but now it’s time to make a decision!
So we are asking God if this might be our next mission location — and Melvin our next Dreamer. Will you pause and pray with us today? This is one of those moments that could shape what’s next.
