God calls us to integrity and honesty. As Proverbs 11:1 states, “The Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him.” This verse guides our approach to financial stewardship: we are committed to showing you exactly how your generosity makes a difference.
The 100% Model: Every Dollar Counts
Village Reach operates on a 100% model inspired by Charity: Water. This means every donation from our supporters goes directly to funding programs and projects on the ground. How is this possible? We have a separate fund specifically for operational costs, so when you give, your gift is going directly into the hands of local leaders to empower change in their own communities.
This approach ensures clarity and builds trust. You can see exactly where the money goes, how it’s used, and the impact it has—because every project has its story and every story has its faces.
Stories Behind the Numbers
Transparency is more than reporting; it’s storytelling. Take the work of Vuthy, a dreamer in Toch Village, Cambodia. With funding from Village Reach, he expanded his youth development center to include two additional classrooms, now serving around 100 students. Vuthy grew the program from offering just soccer and English to also including computer literacy and music. Every dollar you contributed went directly to building the classrooms and purchasing instruments, turning your generosity into tangible opportunities for young people.
Or consider the work in Filandia, Colombia, where our dreamers Eyson and Karson organize a student leadership retreat. Your donations fund workbooks, T-shirts, the venue, meals, and all the details that make this retreat a life-changing experience. Through this support, local students build confidence, leadership skills, and a sense of possibility for their communities.
