Village Reach Raises Over $15,000 Through Dreams Within Reach Campaign, Celebrated at Summer Gala

Sold-out Lexington event brings community together for mission, connection, and impact.
LEXINGTON, KY — On Friday, August 8, Village Reach hosted its 3rd annual Dreams Within Reach Summer Gala at The Camel Club, drawing 80 guests for a sold-out evening of purpose and celebration. The campaign raised over $15,000 to equip “Dreamers” — local visionaries launching community-serving businesses — in Cambodia, India, Colombia, and soon, new communities in Africa and the United States.
Generously sponsored and hosted by Lexington’s first culture and community-driven social house, The Camel Club, the evening blended elegance with immersive storytelling. Guests enjoyed cocktails, catered hors d’oeuvres, and raffle opportunities before stepping into Village Reach’s mission through a VR presentation and short films highlighting the work of Dreamers transforming their local communities.
“This night reminded us that generosity is worth celebrating,” said Alyssa Roman, Mission Communications Lead for Village Reach. “It was a beautiful picture of people coming together around a cause that matters and finding joy in supporting it together. That’s why we invite people to continue that impact long term through our monthly donor community, The Table, and through our business partnerships.

Welcome & Mingling with cocktails, light bites, raffle, and merchandise tables
Intro & Thanks highlighting the purpose of the gathering and sponsor recognition
Immersive Mission Experience featuring VR presentations and mission films in two small-group showings
Raffle Drawing awarding curated prizes
Closing Celebration with music, connection, and reflection on the evening’s impact

Funds raised will help Village Reach expand its global footprint, launching new partnerships with community-minded entrepreneurs ready to create sustainable, life-giving change.
